Why Sharing Matters
The person who builds one agent and keeps it to themselves gets a productivity boost. The person who shares it becomes the AI leader.
Agents are proof AI works at your company
Everyone talks about AI strategy. You have a working demo. That puts you ahead of 95% of your peers.
One agent shared beats ten agents hoarded
When your teammate saves 3 hours a week because of something you built, you become the person they go to. That's how influence compounds.
Sharing makes you visible as the AI person
Leadership notices the person who brings solutions, not just ideas. A working agent is the most convincing pitch deck you'll ever make.
How to Demo an Agent
A great demo takes 5 minutes and changes how people think about AI. Follow these steps and you'll have the room leaning in.
Show the problem first
Open the manual process. Show how long it takes, how tedious it is. Let them feel the pain before you show the cure.
Run the agent live
Never pre-record. Live demos are more convincing because they prove it actually works. If it stumbles, that's fine. It shows it's real.
Show the output quality
Walk through the result. Point out specific details the agent got right. Compare it to what a human would produce.
Share the time saved
"This used to take 45 minutes. The agent did it in 90 seconds." Numbers make people pay attention.
End with the invitation
"I can build one for your workflow too." This turns a demo into a conversation about their problems, and positions you as the solver.
Pitch to Your Manager
You don't need a slide deck. You need four sentences and a working agent. Copy this template, fill in the blanks, send it on Slack.
The 4-line pitch
I spend [X hours/week] on [task]. It's repetitive, error-prone, and takes me away from higher-value work.
I built an AI agent that does it in [Y minutes]. It follows our exact process and produces consistent output.
That's [N hours/month] back for the team. Over a quarter, that's [total hours] we can reinvest in [priority project].
Can we pilot this for the team? I'd like to train 2-3 people this week and measure the results over 30 days.
Become the AI Champion
This isn't about a job title. It's about becoming the person everyone goes to when they want AI to actually work.
The curious builder
You build agents for yourself. You save time on your own tasks. Your manager notices you're getting more done.
The team enabler
You build agents for your team. You run a lunch-and-learn. People start coming to you with "could an agent do this?" questions.
The AI champion
You're leading AI adoption across teams. You have a portfolio of agents that save hundreds of hours a month. Leadership includes you in strategy conversations.
Scale Across Your Team
Scaling isn't about building faster. It's about building a system where agents multiply.
Start with your proven agent
Pick the agent that saves you the most time. Document what it does, how it works, and what it produces.
Train 2-3 teammates
Show them how to use it. Let them customize it for their workflow. Their success stories become your proof points.
Build for other workflows
Each teammate has their own boring, repetitive tasks. Help them spot opportunities and build agents for those too.
Create an agent menu
Publish a simple list of available agents for your team. "Need help with X? Use this agent." Make it dead simple to find and use.
